Wolfe , of Wolfe & Wyman LLP , to Present Lien Impairment Assessment, Avoidance & Litigation Techniques Involving Damaged Secured Property at 2004 MBA Legal Issues & Regulatory Conference Stuart B. Wolfe, of Wolfe & Wyman LLP, will speak at the 2004 Mortgage Bankers Association's Annual Legal Issues & Regulatory Conference. The April 27-30, 2004 conference in Coronado, California is presented by the MBA's Legal Issues/Regulatory Committee. Stuart Wolfe's presentation will focus on best practices for lenders holding environmentally contaminated or otherwise defective / damaged real property security to avoid lien impairment while at the same time avoiding unnecessary litigation legal expenses. The discussion will provide practical solutions for assessing the likelihood of lien impairment and participating in, or avoiding, borrower-developer/third party litigation, as well as recoupment opportunities. Joining Stuart Wolfe for the presentation will be Donna Case-Rossato, V.P. & Assoc. Gen. Counsel of CitiMortgage, Inc. and Kathleen T. Egan, Asst. Gen. Counsel of Bank of America, N.A.
