Wolfe, of Wolfe & Wyman LLP, will speak at the 2004 Mortgage Bankers Association's Annual Legal Issues & Regulatory Conference. The April 27-30, 2004 conference in Coronado, California is presented by the MBA's Legal Issues/Regulatory Committee. Stuart Wolfe's presentation will focus on best practices for lenders holding environmentally contaminated or otherwise defective / damaged real property security to avoid lien impairment while at the same time avoiding unnecessary litigation legal expenses. The discussion will provide practical solutions for assessing the likelihood of lien impairment and participating in, or avoiding, borrower-developer/third party litigation, as well as recoupment opportunities.
