Chris’s practice focuses on the aggressive defense of companies involved in a variety of industries including multi-family residential housing, youth sports, commercial property management, hospitality and entertainment, transportation, and construction.  Recent representative actions include the defense of a national youth sports organization in chronic traumatic encephalopathy litigation, the defense of a property management company in the Berkeley balcony collapse litigation, the defense of significant bodily injury and construction defect claims arising out of large-scale public and private development projects including the City of Emeryville Redevelopment Project, the University of California – Santa Cruz, San Francisco State University, Santana Row, and the San Francisco Olympic Club, as well as the defense of Century Theatres in premises liability actions.  Chris has successfully represented clients in class action litigation and tried cases to a defense verdict in both California and Arizona.
